Much of Matthew’s work involves intensive negotiations with other lawyers and their clients. His instinct is to conduct negotiations in a friendly, cooperative manner with a view to achieving a positive outcome for all. However, he is a fast-thinking, straight-talking and robust negotiator who is not intimidated by others’ overbearing or aggressive tactics.
